Aaron Smyle MBA, MST is an Enrolled Agent (EA), a federally-authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation and is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service for audits, collections, and appeals.

He began Smyle and Associates, LLC in 2010 with the goal of offering his expertise in the areas of taxation and compliance to individuals and small business owners, with a special emphasis on restaurants, retailers, creative businesses, medical practices and law firms. From the very beginning his clients appreciated his personalized approach and his emphasis on educating his clients about their tax liabilities and how to minimize the impact of those liabilities on their businesses and personal income.

Mr. Smyle is a graduate of the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business where he received a B.S. in Finance. He continued his education at Fordham University where he received an MBA in Professional Accounting and a Masters in Taxation. He also received a Professional Certification in Not-for-Profit Management from Fordham University Graduate Schools of Social Service and Business Administration.

Prior to opening Smyle & Associates, LLC, Mr. Smyle worked at the boutique accounting firm Davis, Graber, Plotzker and Ward, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, BNP Paribas and Legg Mason Wood Walker.
